- I supervise Network Infrastructure, Helpdesk & support , application development , telecom and Solar & green energy teams , 10 ICT professionals directly report to me.
- I am responsible to ensure that secure network environment, internet services , Office365 , SharePoint online , IP telephony system , Video conferencing system , and electric power system is available for over 600 direct users.
- I am responsible for network security , data security , data backup & restore , disaster recovery planning, testing as well as ensuring the business continuity and availability meets the required standards.
- I am responsible for unit strategic and annual work, budgeting , recruitment , learning , cost recovery and procurement planning in addition to implementation.
- I lead preparation and implementation of standard operating procedures for ICT services , service level agreements, content filtering, Password , Email , Governance , cost recovery and ICT resources policies.
- I monitor the Investigated alerts created by IDS/IPS including malicious file uploads, compromised servers, SQL injections, and port scanning.
- I monitor Servers , Firewalls , Logs , datacenters ,data backup and BCP offsite offices to ensure the ICT environment is available.
- I lead formation of TOR for procurement of ICT equipment and services in addition participate in technical evaluation during procurement process for implementation of long-term agreements for ICT equipment and services.
- I lead planning & implementation of new system as well as system upgradation.
- I am responsible for training material preparation as well as conducting ICT awareness trainings on subjects of cyber security on top of the newly implemented & upgraded system.

- I managed the entire ICT services and technology infrastructure ensuring the effective and efficient functionality of ICT system in line with UNDP ICT policy through a team of ICT professionals.
- I was responsible for installation , configuration and implementation of Network Firewall , Windows servers, network switch , network router and Datacenter.
- I have Implemented new IT infrastructure ( installation and configuration centralized Antivirus, WSUS server , AntiSpyWare server, and NAS server for data backup) which has maximized the network availability up to 99.9 %
- I managed to improve the internal business processes by implementing applications developed in-house, by Regional centres and HQ.
- Web applications such as STS , PAD and online attendance for UNV staff members were successfully adopted and deployed .
- Raised client satisfaction 33% by designing and implementing ICT helpdesk application that reduced time to answer client inquires .
- I developed standard operating procedures, ICT resources procedures, service level agreements, cyber security awareness presentations and end-user manuals.
- I was able to establish a standard data server for UNHABITAT .The server room was fully equipped with managed power system, air conditioning, fire stagnation, smoke detection and biometric access control system.
- I have completed Installation and configuration of Cyberoam firewall, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, application server and network attached server (NAS), Symantec executive server for data backup and recovery.
- I was successful to setup Network system & a standard small size data center in 22 provincial offices.
- I was able to implementation of standard operating procedures and ICT policies .
- Completed setting up twenty training centers in 20 provinces countrywide fully equipped with network devices, servers, computer and printers, this project has increased the presence of UN-Habitat from 20% to 60 % country wide.
- I managed to develop the ICT strategies, ICT annual plan and road map, developed disaster recovery planning mechanism and capacity building procedures.
- I was responsible for implementation of Intranet for content management, automation of internal business processes, document management, record retention and team collaboration. Microsoft SharePoint features for users to work together more effectively and efficiently get work done through collaborating on documents has been configured and achieved.
